‘Superman’ Reboot Will Reportedly Cast Black Clark Kent

The remake of DC’s Superman is in the works, and it will allegedly star a Black Clark Kent.

According to reports, The upcoming film, based on a Black Superman, will be written by Ta-Nehisi Coates, who also wrote Black Panther and Captain America.

The upcoming film will be produced by Warner Bros. and J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot. In a statement announcing the project, Coates said, “It is an honor to be welcomed into the DC Extended Universe by Warner Bros., DC Films, and Bad Robot.”

“I am looking forward to making a major contribution to America’s most famous mythic hero’s legacy.” The film is still in the early stages of production, and no director has been assigned.
