PJ Tucker and Dolce & Gabbana Unveil Miami Sneaker Collaboration Colorways include “Sicilian Orange” and “Beige.”
Anyone can claim to be a sneakerhead, but few have the collection that PJ Tucker does in terms of sheer volume and general rarity.
He’s dabbled into the realm of sneaker collaborations before as he dropped a special Kobe 5 Protro PE with Nike in 2020, but now he’s venturing into the luxury footwear space for a two-piece Miami capsule with Dolce & Gabbana.
The scrappy Milwaukee Bucks small forward and the Italian luxury label collaborated on two lifestyle models, one of which features a vivid “Sicilian Orange” make-up. The upper parts are made entirely of excellent suede and are dyed to match the rest of the shoe.
The skate shoe-like laces, the Dolce and Gabbana flag on the mid-foot, and Tucker’s signature on the tongues and heels all have bright yellow embellishments. Semi-chunky midsoles, similar to Rihanna’s PUMA Creepers, are painted orange and have ribbed texturing at the heels and forefoot, as well as a smooth block in the centre.
This pack’s second iteration is on the more neutral side of the color wheel. At the mid-foot, the majority of the suede uppers are coated in a dusty brown tone, with various colors of beige overlays adjacent. Tucker’s autographs are stitched in white and appear in the same places. The sole units below maintain the tonal theme by being dressed in beige as well.
“Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have always shown me nothing but love”, PJ Tucker says. “Their support of me and their trust in me throughout this process has been incredible. Collaborating on the design of this sneaker has been amazing and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do.”
100 pairs signed by P. J. Tucker that are also paired to an exclusive NFT are available now on the Dolce and Gabbana site.
