Lil Baby’s Single “The Bigger Picture” Goes Platinum

The Bigger Picture” of Lil Baby has officially been certified platinum, marking the 40th platinum plaque of the 26-year-old.”

The album was originally released in June 2020, just a couple of weeks after George Floyd’s murder. In favor of the Black Lives Matter campaign, “The Bigger Picture” was dropped by Lil Kid, with all its proceeds going to The National Association of Black Journalists, Breonna Taylor’s counsel, The Bail Fund and Black Lives Matter. During the BLM protests, his accompanying music video showed the rapper march and also highlighted what was going on during the country-wide rallies.

“The Bigger Picture” also won the rapper his second and third GRAMMY nominations, earning “Best Rap Rap Song” and “Best Rap Performance” nods.
