Lil Baby’s ‘My Turn’ Goes Triple Platinum on First Anniversary

Lil Baby has received a triple platinum plaque for his critically acclaimed studio album My Turn, which was released one year ago.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that the album had sold three million copies by February 28, the one-year anniversary of its publication.

In March 2020, My Turn sold 500,000 units to achieve gold status, then one million units in May to achieve platinum status, and two million units in September to achieve double platinum status.

Young Thug, Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, Future, DJ Paul, Hit-Boy, Murda Beatz, Tay Keith, Wheezy, and others feature on the record, which is the Atlanta rapper’s sophomore studio effort.

My Turn was Lil Baby‘s first No. 1 album and the first to go platinum in 2020, while the deluxe edition track “The Bigger Picture,” which was released in support of the Black Lives Matter campaign, is up for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song at the 2021 GRAMMYs.
