Kendrick Lamar to Headline 2021 Roskilde Festival
The Roskilde Festival, which just announced that Kendrick Lamar has agreed to headline the summer 2021 festival, is an exciting announcement for the end of 2020.
All the big concerts in 2020, including Denmark’s popular Roskilde Festival, have been rescheduled due to the pandemic, with all the cancellations that have occurred.
Lamar was originally the festival’s headline event for 2020, so it comes as no surprise that this summer he will be attending the festival again. It is planned that Roskilde will run from June 26 to July 3, 2021 and will include a big lineup of musicians.
The Strokes, Tyler, the Maker, HAIM, Thom Yorke’s Tomorrow’s New Boxes, FKA Twigs, Anderson.Paak, Big Thief, DaBaby, Doja Cat, and even Megan Thee Stallion should expect fans to see performances. Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves, and The Roots, to name a few, are artists who were expected to play at the 2020 festival but have yet to be confirmed.
While this positive news offers plenty to look forward to for live music fans everywhere, it is unclear whether or not live shows will be able to take place when the time comes. If the US and Europe would be healthy for large group gatherings in the summer of 2021 remains to be seen.
