Kanye West and Drake are said to have settled their Beef
Just in time for the release of DONDA, Kanye West and Drake are said to have ended their dispute. Kanye West’s tenth studio album, Yeezy Season, will be released very soon. Ye has been dropping hints about the mixtape all week, even returning to social media for the forthcoming release.
Fans of Kanye West and Drake have had a difficult few years as the two have appeared to be feuding on and off, taking barbs at one other and inserting petty references into their lyrical flow. Ye offered to send Drake a sample that the Toronto rapper had fell in love with during one of his Wyoming studio sessions. However, when the two had their falling out, Kanye barred Drake from using the sample, dropping his “poopity scoop” bars on “Lift Yourself”.
With Kanye West’s Donda due to arrive at the end of the week and Drake’s highly anticipated album Certified Lover Boy on the way, industry insider Karen Civil took to Twitter to debunk any reports that Drake would release his album on the same day as Ye. “The pals now,” she revealed. He’s not [dropping on the same day].”
